Our team is dedicated to giving you comprehensive Restorative Dentistry options. Restorative treatment can restore the health and function of your natural teeth.
Composite fillings
Composite fillings use a tooth colored material to restore teeth with cavities. In addition to being more esthetically pleasing, tooth colored fillings are also metal and mercury free. Unlike silver amalgam fillings, composite resins bond to the dentin and enamel of the tooth so no unnecessary tooth structure is sacrificed, allowing the dentist to be more conservative.
Crowns
Crowns (or caps) are multi-purpose dental restorations that completely cover the tooth restoring it to an ideal size and shape. Crowns are completed over 2 visits. The first visit is where the tooth is prepared and a temporary crown is placed. The second visit is a short visit to place the permanent crown on the tooth. Crowns are recommended for a variety of reasons.
Bridges
Dental bridges are used to replace one or more missing teeth for patients who want an alternative option to dental implants or dentures.
Implant Restorations
An implant is a titanium screw that is surgically placed into the bone in the area of a missing tooth. This acts as an artificial root which can support single teeth, fixed bridges or even a denture. It is the closest replacement to a missing tooth.
Dentures
Dentures are used to replace multiple teeth on a single upper or lower arch. Dentures may be full or partial depending on the number of teeth missing. For patients missing all teeth in either top or bottom arch a full denture is an economical solution to replacing all their teeth. If only some teeth are missing a partial denture can be fabricated using existing teeth as supports to provide retention.
