MEET OUR DENTIST

Dr. Avdhesh Patel knew from a very young age that he wanted to be a dentist. Having spent 5 years in the chair at his orthodontist as a child, he has first hand experience the difference a happy and healthy smile can make. He wanted to give that same feeling to others and began his journey to becoming a dentist. He values communicating transparently and educating patients. Dentistry can be a stressful experience for many, Dr. Patel understands this and approaches his patients with a caring and compassionate demeanor.

Dr. Patel has provided exceptional care for his patients for more than 10 years. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo. After graduating from Binghamton University. In addition to earning his dental degree he completed a General Practice Residency at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady, NY. Dr. Patel is passionate about dentistry and enjoys attending continuing education courses to keep up with modern techniques and procedures.

When not in the office Dr. Patel enjoys spending time with his family; his wife, 2 sons and of course his golden retriever, Cooper. He is excited to get to know each and every patient that chooses Chapel Street Dentistry to be their dental home and will treat you as if you were part of the family!
